Went to the lake today and wow, i haven't seen that many fishermen in a while . started at camp branch and all spots where covered left there headed north to shady hollow 7 boats in there. so i went to looking at main lake spots brush piles and that was the ticket 16 -25 ft best luck was on 1/4 special jig head with 2 inch black and pink woolly beaver tail also blue and white and purple and pink bobby garland.limited out with 30 nice fish for myself and my partner. all fish were super fat with shad looked like they were gonna burst.same pattern as before find the brush drop jig in 1-2 cranks up and hold it still and bam they got it . if anyone else fished today let me know how you did............good fishin.........charlie

Great job today! Glad you were able to get away from the crowd and boat some nice fish.

Had to work a little and fight the wind but managed two limits nothing huge but alot of nice 10's. Fished with Alex and had a great time. Brush piles about 12 to 15 foot was the ticket also using purple and turned Alex on to the WASSHOPPAH which is now his favorite bait. (so there are none left in KC)
Alex has some detailed maps but below is a pic of exactly where he caught his!!!:D:D
sounds like a heck of a day
