Fished smithville on Mon. Wed. and Thurs. ended up with my limit on Mon. and Wed. Thursday I ended up with eleven, the white bass were moving in and it was hard to keep them off your line even though they put a big fight. Tried all different colors yesterday and not one was better than the other. Fish seem to be getting smaller and skinny. Hopeful it turns back on but right now pretty slow. Suppose to find out today if the are going to shut the gates or open them up more. I hope they shut the gates. Well good luck everyone going out to see if they are bitting. If you fished smithville this week let me know how you did.

I heard they are biting good at Smithville . Now that I have a few deer in the freezer , I need to get back out fishing again . I haven't been out in two months .
