Here's some of my set up...I included some of the back of my boat so yall can see how easy I can carry condos...
Look closely at the wiring on the TM of the TD wite twisting around the shaft...Those picks will be in the next post...
Would anybody share how they set up their bow mount fishfinder? I am especially interested in the location of the display, and how you secured your wires from the transducer to the display unit.
Photos would be great!
Thanks

Sac-A-Lait has got-er-done. Mine is set up exactly like his.
Hold My beer and watch this sheeet!!!
My wiring is run basically the same. The only differance is that i wire tie the cable to the shaft along the edge that is facing upward with the motor in the stowed position. I have pinched my cable pulling the motor out of the water, so i try to keep it away from any pinch points. You will have to leave a small loop of cable where the shaft rotates so that the motor can turn without binding.
Hey Sac-a- lait, Is that some pvc pipe i see there in your driveway? Looks like you are ready for some condo building!

Thanks sac-a-lait. I see you mounted the display on the deck. Do you have to keep an eye out so you dont step on it?
Also, what are the two wires going from your foot control down into the deck with the transducer wire? (photo #6)
Had me camera out so I took a shot or two of me rig. Notice the cable where the two TM's shaft columns join has slack (loop) in it. This is for turning the TM without binding the xducer cable. My sonar is mounted via ram mount (6 incher) on deck. You can see the ram mount. I always remove me sonar screen when not in use.

Tom,
Why do you not have a cover on the boat? That snow must have some bad stuff in it that can hurt your rig. May be it doesn't matter, as I see a warning tag in the last pic. Whats up with that?
Glenn
Naw, snow want hurt it. It usually covered, I just forgot and left the cover at lake.Originally Posted by Glenn
