    Default Marshall State School 11-21-10

Hey all! I've been pretty quiet around here lately I know some of you are having "Rugs" withdrawals But I finally got to catch some fish around here! Been working too much, working on cars etc. and when I go to the lake, I just haven't had much luck.
The dooface dog and I caught 9 crappie and a few gills and other fish.
Black/char red/char tandem jigs, both worked equally well fishing around the dock.
I lost a few of the nicest ones but the larger were 9-10" and of course, it wouldn't be state school lake if I didn't have a batch of 5-8" ers too
Nice day 'cept for the wind, pretty blustery most of the day.
    Later all,

Glad to see you took the time for some fishing and congrats on the mess you caught. They'll fry up just fine.

Well done rugs, nothing wrong with that batch of eaters.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

WTG, Quinn. Those are some purdy fish. They look to have more color than the ones I've been catching lately. Good job.
