    Default Stockton 11-14

Nice cool morning until the wind kicked up. Found 14 keepers in brush a couple of feet off the bottom in 35 FOW. It was a real chore staying on them in the wind Pink/Yellow and Green/ Orange worked today.

Those are some nice fish, what size jig head were you using of did you add split shots to get that deep in this windy weather.

I would say that was tough staying on them when vertical fishing that deep. Not sure I have ever caught a fish over 15ft deep and almost positive most of my rods do not have much more line on them than that 35 ft you were using. Congrats on a nice mess of fish Gator.

I use 1/8oz Buzzy jigheads and no split shot. They actually get down pretty good and the line stays straight most of the time.
