    Default vertical rod holder????


    Hey All,
    Anyone got a good idea on a vertical rod holder for the boat...someting I can build to use in my pontoon after I get to the lake to hold 16 rods,i just got my hi tecs,some body came up with something out of pvc pipe here a wile back but i cant remember and cant find what im after in the search

    Are you asking about something like this?



    Made from 1x4s and pvc pipe. The length can easily be increased. I have an eight foot version in my garage that holds 16 rods.

    I used a Dremel tool to cut the slots. I think it was 1" schedule 40 pipe. I just measured the butt outside diameter and found the smallest pvc pipe at Lowe's the butt would fit in.
