Hey Terry!
You all don't hoard all the specs and mallards up there! I'm not seeing any out the front window flying by and am concerned that Rayville's soybean fields have locked 'em in! Hope not - it's getting close!
And if Barbara ever finds out how much I have spent on new decoys, she'll cut me off forever!
Pete
Well, Pete, not being a big duck hunter, I haven't really kept up on the number of quackers in the area. We did get about 4 inches of rain the other night (thank the Good Lord!) but the ground just soaked it right up. Also saw a few wood ducks on Saline Bayou last weekend but they were probably resident birds. A friend and big duck hunter who lives in Patterson said things were looking good down there, so I think this year all of ya'll down south should see a much better season. It's still dry as a bone up here.
