Minnow Trap

Does any body use a minnow trap and what is the best bait, We got a different place at LOTO on the main channel and we see alot of minnows around the dock, mostly only saw gizzard shad around the dock when we where in the cove , and they would die right away if caught in a casting net.

yeah use old hard dried up dog food it floats for awhile hang it off walkway close to the shoreline thought you left the country donzi had not seen a post in a long time

it is pretty good fishing for all fish big fish fry every summer

My son made that last post, last week end wasn't able to get the boat out and go fishing but he was fishing off the dock and was catching them off the brush piles we put in the week before right off the bottom in about 15 ft of water.
