    Default Stockton 10/31

Met JJ this morning and had a great day. 2 limits and a great bonus fish, just can't have a better day. Fished channel ledges in 18-24 foot of water using orange/rootbeet/chart with a nibble. Took us about 4 hours to limit. Funny thing I hooked
Someones line and as I wad bringing it up I felt a fish on it. Nice 101/2 inch crappie.

Sounds like a great day. I went hunting this morning and didnt get to Stockton until 3:00pm to sink some brush. WOW was it windy! We put out some nice beds but it was not enjoyable. I went to Stockton on Friday also so the last two times I have been out I didn't fish and sank brush. Put in a dozen brush piles so that will be a fair trade for not fishing those two days. I love sinking brush and just sitting around wondering how good it will be.

Nice job Tom and Gary. I see you are staying clear of them teeth Gary:D Way to fight the wind and get on some. Was you fishing brushpiles or just the creek ledges?

Tom thanks a lot. Had a great time. Lots of fun & laughs. It was a perfect day to fish for sure. You catch those line fish & I'll take the eye's every time. Sure was different than dipping trees & just about as much fun. Thanks for all the info.
