I am new to Baton Rouge and took the boat out to Ramah Thursday, caught one 15inch bass on a shiner and 1 bream on a worm. small sacalait hit a shiner or two but no keepers.
Saturday I went to Butte Larose, and only got a huge goo to bite and he was good eating.
Both days, I brought nitecrawlers and worms and still did not have good luck with the fish. I'm not asking for anyone's secrets, but can you all suggest to close places to fish with a boat where I'd get 20+ fish. I have a 2002 sprint bass boat with a 75/mercury.

First , Welcome from Middle Tennessee. Most folks use minnows and jigs for the Crappie, and patience is the most important ingredient for making a good Crappie fisherman. One by one your questions will be answered and you'll build your own style of fishing. Soon enough you'll meet someone who will help shorten the learning and you'll have plenty of fish in the box. To start, small split shot(bb size)and a #4 aberdeen hook slowly presented over fallen trees will get you started. Crappie sometimes hit while rising and the only indicator is the line going slack unexpectedly-set the hook(from the wrist). The deeper the tree, the better it should hold fish. About 4" between the shot and the hook. Keepus posted.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
