    Cool Color Combinations

I guess I am the opposite of 90% of you guys. I mainly spider rig or fish with bobbers during the spawn. I am wanting to start jigging or dipping as some would say but I am Not any good at it or lets say not confident with what I am doing, so I would like to know what color combinations as far as head, body, tail you use in different water clarity and sunny or not. Thanks for any help. If you do not want to post for all to see my e-mail is [email protected]. I will keep it to myself. Thanks Again

Same colors as spider rigging in the spring during the spawn. I also love to sider rig prespawn through the post spawn. Catch many more big females that way. My two favorites for Truman are Red head/White body/Chartruse tail and Red head/Black body/Yellow tail. The first couple years I fished all I used was Orange head/Black body/Chartruse tail. You will get a bunch of awnsers to this post but I would bet Blk/Char is popular at least on Truman or darker water.

My two favorites no matter how I fish them are orange head/blue body/ white tail and orange head/black body/chartreuse tail. I have a ton of others that I'll use on occasion but those are the ones I have confidence in and use most of the time.

when fish are truly "spawning" i get as bright as i can, electric chicken with chartreuse or pink or orange head, the males are protecting the bed and attacking whatever comes close, so i try to get as bright and aggressive as possible

I like orange head, black/chartruse, red head, blue/white on sunny days, I use dark colors on cloudy days, and If I am fishing deep, on cloudy days when the fish are up close to the top, I like green/silver or red/silver, I have always found black head and orange/silver or blue/silver work good on partly cloudy days. good luck
