heres a lil better picture of them.....
I don't get to post this very often but I put a whoopen on the crappie today. Still only caught a small handful of fish that were leagal size but still had a fun day. I caught them all on the jigs I made and man were they hammerin the two pictured below. They were all about that pink I guess. I was tying two spaced jigs about 10 inches apart (1/32oz heads). The white and pink caught the most fish. Had a few bonus fish today also. 2 ring perch and a pretty nice size bass. threw all fish back. Fish were out in open water again today. Weird, I just findem out in the middle of the lake with the side imaging and start fishing. Its weird not having something to throw the jig at. Just wide open water.............. I know the big ones are there but.................... I have trouble finding them in high concentrations. just a few here and there. biggest fish today was 10.5"...................... whatchas think of the jigs I gotem on. I don't thing Im even gonna paint heads it just doest seem to matter.......................
sounds like a heck of a day.....when them fish are suspendid it may be worth long line trolling through em.....but what your doing is working so why fix whats broke....congrats on a good day.

I like the looks of those. Was that you in White Oak today?
I had the bright idea of going down & trying to catch some of those that were released Saturday during the BCC. They wouldn't cooperate though. 6 Keeper crappie caught on the tug straight across from the ramp. I caught nothing but small bass in the slough. I went down and checked out what was caught during the weigh in. Seemed like a great bunch of guys. Their bags were typical of what I've been catching, nothing real big. Lots of 9 to 11 inch fish, with a couple of good ones throwed in. We need rain & cooler weather for it to pick up. IMO
