    Default Lake Erie Crappie Bite

In case anyone wanted to know what is happening on Erie, I went fishing on Mon/Tues. On Monday, we fished from 3:30pm to 6pm and caught 102 crappies. Had to sort thru them, but caught many nice ones. Stinger Shads under a cork is all we used. On Tuesday, we looked for new spots and had the same results. THE CRAPPIES ARE ON AT ERIE!!!!!!

    Good luck!

    Hey Russ,
I've been fishing for perch out of the Chagrin River. All the way out from the dock to the lake I wanted to slab fish. All the struture and docks look like crappie heaven. Have you ever fished around Eastlake?

    Default Erie crappie

I'd really love to give Erie a try. Where is a good access point for a would-be slab hunter?

Russ, do you offer guide trips up there as well?
It's not a keeper if you have to ask...:p

Would be nice if i could get his videos to play without stopping every 15 seconds. Every one of them does this. I really enjoy his shows that i bought on dvd's but the free shows dont play for me on my computer.

    Default Internet Downloading

You have to download the whole show first - with stops and then once it has totally downloaded, you can replay with the stops. Still a little time consuming.

My son and I went up yesterday and fished the docks. A lot of fish on the docks. Also we found a bunch of Bluegill on the rocks. Chartruse and white seemed to be the best color.

We were in the Port Clinton area. I wish i could tell you more, but I really do not know the names of the area we fished ( I think the portage river). We just drove up Sunday morning and found marinas put the boat in and fished them.
