    Default Carpet Glue.....

The carpet is coming up in a few spots on my deck. Is there a specific glue they use to keep that down?

I've always used contact cement by Weldwood, its strong but remember to have your carpet where you want it because it is strong.

if it is only a small area, use the contact cement. if you get started and it seems like a large area will come up, pull it back carefully and I recommend outdoor carpet adhesive.
Contact cement works well, but if exposed to water repeatedly, it can loose its bond.
if you go with the outdoor carpet adhesive, use a very small notched trowel, 1/6" x 1/6 will be plenty and not make it a nightmare when you go to replace it, or just brush it on with a $.99 disposable brush.
If cost is an issue, go with the contact cement. OD adhesive can cost $15 / gallon.

Thanks for the advice rugs. it is just a small area, enough that it is annoying to see. I may try that contact cement and give it a try.
