    Default Smithville 8/28

Trolling motor is in the shop so I found a group of trees, off the main lake, tossed a rope around them, turned on the radio and bobber fished. Started with a 5# catfish, added a 3# bass and a limit of crappie. Off the water at 10am. 15 fow fished 5 feet deep to start then 12 feet deep when the sun got higher. Jig head and minnow. Sorry, picture is blurry.

Thank you for the complement. Didn't do that good. Only put 5 in the boat. I took my brother out today and we fished a little south of Twin Coves. Glad to see you go into the fish pretty good.
