Lake Erie in the Fall?

Kind of curious about Crappie fishing on Lake Erie in the fall. Do they head back to the docks like they do in the spring?

I would think dock shooting would be great on the big pond. Russ is the guy to talk to since I know he has fished it. I have always wanted to but when I get there all I do are eyes and perch, old habits are hard to break.

theres an episode of midwest crappie where they were fishing docks in the fall and did pretty well.......
