I came accross a good buy on a bunch of strollers a while back and I primarily slow troll to I took a razor to them and converted them to baby shad. Hard to tell the difference from the real thing!
Anybody use these? They are made for long line trolling, I picked up a few packs, but really can't get any action out of them. Maybe I like to troll to slow for these baits. I like to run around .8, and at that speed, these baits just drag through the water. I rig them on a 1/16 leadhead.

Not a bite, they just kinda pull through the water.
Here is what they look like
Crappie Pro | 2.5" Bobby Garland Crappie Stroller
I have caught some nice crappie using them. I use them on a road runner and keep the speed between .05 to .07 longlining. These were caught in March using them.

I've never used 'em but dont be afraid of running 'em a little faster. Even during these hot summer months I've caught fish running as fast as 1.2 mph. I usually pull 1/16th jigs with southern pro hot grubs and all summer long I've been pulling jigs at .9-1.1 mph and have been catching fish.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Love em caught some good fish on them this spring caught a 3 lber with the blue glow.

IT'S A GREAT BAIT. My number one bait to troll with. Use them on the Ohio lakes with success and WEISS with great success:D
I actually use them to vertical jig...
