Sorry to here you didn't have a lot of success, but at least you enjoyed the day. I have had absolutely NO success on jigs in the last two months on Kinkaid. Minnows have been best by far. Good luck on you future trips to Kinkaid!
Well the fishin went great but the catchin not so much
Only got 1 keeper in the boat 11 incher on my new rod!!!
We caught bout 15-20 dinks and 1 little bass
we tried all different depths and types of cover but just couldn't find em
when we did catch a couple in a row they came from 12-16 fow bout 10 ft deep
almost all were caught on green jig head with black/blue/white tube jigs
someday we will figure this lake out but it's got me stumped for now
oh well better luck next time I say
