Crappie.......its whats for dinner!!
Garlic scented cooking spray works well.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
mineral oil, with garlic scent, pam/with garlic as stated, I buy small concentrated bottles of scent, get a small amount to mineral oil and mix the two, shake well befor adding to jigs, I use an I dropper to add scent to the bag,
fish oil
ITS LIKE BASEBALL PITCHIN,HITTIN,CATCHIN
hey smitty how ya doin? I leave my tube bodies in the package and they stay like new till I use em. but I never considered lubin em up either. are there any products out there for this? anyone notice if the fish prefer your treated baits??
I have a YUM garlic spray. One spritz of that lubes 'em up for quite a while and gives 'em a scent. It's *supposed* to improve the bite, but...I can't tell!
In reading these other posts, tho, I'm thinking the YUM is a waste of $ when you can get the same results from PAM or fish oil....which I have to take anyway! Doesn't that stink up your tackle if it's out in the heat for a while?
I use the Yum spray. just spray on top of the jigs in the box. then close it and shake it up and down. they stay good for a long time like that. Oh and bring them inside in this heat!
