Great report!!!! Sounds like a great time. No better quality time than spending it with a youngster on the water.
Well Bug and i het stockton this morning. it was mostly a ring out for our new boat, but we did drop a line. Put in at CC and motored up to Horse shoe bend. Tied up in the trees at 24 FOW. We fished jig and minnow combo and did pretty good for the first time out in about 5 years. brought home a few keepers and Bug tied into a real nice one. ( posting a photo so if ya get a chance check out the worlds best fishing partner.) Anyhow thats my report. Peace and see ya on the water. Well i guess i dont have enough post to put a picture up but never fear that wont take long

good report was wondering what cc was doing.

Guys any day with "the Bug" is awesome catching fish or not. Frosty dont know that Horeshoe bend is its right name but its what my gradfather alway called it. Going north out of cc about a mile or so up the lake is a really big bend, the east side has a steep bluff, west side is long and flat. But its a big bend. I will look on a map and see if i can get a marker or "the real name". Looks like its the bend south of Sand Mountain
