Went to CG quite a bit here recently mainly for the saugys. Been doing well
up around the outlet, with saugys being concentrated around the breaks and
banks. Also, been pulling crappie suspended there and in the corner. The in-
teresting thing is a pattern I've used at Kanop. which is fishing the flooded
trees, so I tried it up there. OMG are the saugys in them trees, along with
some LMB and crappie. Green trees, mouth of the river, flooded clumps we
found fish in almost every place we tried, and their NICE fish.

Interesting, have CS on my bucket list, now might be the time to go.

Went to the Grove and the Grove was fair yesterday. We had 7 saugys
all nice fish, don't know what changed. There were gate changes and fronts
kinda tough fishing.
