    Dont waste your time fishing anywhere you see these signs come next month.

    those signs have been in Plattsburg for 2 years now...thought it was just a visual reminder not to dump waste oil/trash/etc..in the water....ya want to add a little more info?No boat traffic or recreational use in these areas?Don't leave us hanging.

    Fish there all ya want......nothing wrong with that. The catching part might be an issue at certain times.

    I believe these are signs erected by Missouri DNR to alert folks that poeple get their drinking water from this area or lake. I think it's just a way to call folks attention to the fact that what they put in the water could affect someone's drinking water. MDC has no involvement with drinking water.

    I suppose they don't have anything to do with helping or advising how to protect water intakes for drinking water neither then.:rolleyes:

    I think there is a special dye they put in the water...it turns blue if ya pee in the lake
