Default Maybe there are too many sub forums

It seems that a great deal of threads are being moved from the main board to other sub-forums. Is there just the smallest possiblity that there are now too many forums? I feel as though I need a politically correct guide to posting. What is the main board now for? If I start a thread about fishing cover that I've sunk with homemade jigs from a dual seat setup I just bought in my aluminum boat, where is the correct forum?

I'm pretty sure that one would go on the main board and be left there... unless President Obama was in the boat, then it would go to the OT Bit Bucket.

With all due respect Miss Vonna, in the rules in the newbie section for getting started Slab mentions to pay attention to where and what you are posting... it seems like the majority (or a large number of folks) don't do this... and a lot of people aren't aware of how many different sub-forums there are and what they pertain too.

I actually like the different sub-forums, they provide lots of good reading about the many different aspects of Crappie fishing. I have found lots of good info in the different sections that has made me a much better crappie fisherman since I joined this board with quite a few yucks thrown in for good measure.

Miss Vonna the only consisity in where your post end up is what mod. on what board on what day he or she feels like leaving or moving or editing it. not because of what is in the post.

Wth all due respect back at ya, Mr. GCD, the newbie section is a new sub forum as well. 5 years ago we didn't have to have a guide as to where to post. When I go to the main board now, I see topics that have been moved but don't the mods don't indicate what forum they were moved to. I come to crappie.com for entertainment, banter and interaction with my fellow fishermen and hopefully to gain additional insight on the sport. It now seems that political correctness has now overtaken and overwhelmed this site.

Exclamation I can assure you all ....

... that it wasn't done by me

I've only moved threads off the Main Board, when they would garner more replies if moved to their respective board ... or if they were obviously out of place.

    .... cp

Vonna.....When a thread had been moved there is a re-direct and all you have to do is click on the moved title and it will automatically take you to the thread at the new location. I did move a few threads from the main Crappie Fishing board because I felt like they would get more responces elsewhere plus the added benefit of being seen in two locations instead of just one. Moving is not always a bad thing....sometimes it can be better.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
