I'm sure the luck will change once you hit the "home" waters, Beagle
If you keep doing the same thing over and over and the same wrong thing keeps comming back that is stupid. now I told you that to tell you this, sure seem like a lot of fish on TABLEROCK LAKE but I can't seem to catch them. I try, and try hard, minnows, jigs, dipping cedars, slow trolling casting, fishing in deep water, shallow water, bluffs, boat docks, open water, points, every color jig I own and nothing, nada, zilch, blotches all over the scope, some deep some shallow, some on trees, some in the brush. but no bites, worked harder that I should have to and nothing, NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG I AIN'T COMPLANING just stating a fact, so It's back to stockton for me. if you know any crappie on stockton and dont want them caught best call them and tell BEAGLE IS ON HIS WAY AND SOON.

I hear you, I go down there one weekend a year in early June, the first year we caught about 50 nice fish for the weekend. the next year 10, then 3, then 1 this year. It is beautiful lake but I am sure glad I only have to go there 1 time a year.
You Know what they say......Fishing is like a Box of Chocolates........
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

Take your fishfinder out of simulator mode.:D

Beagle has shown me the error of my ways in returning to the Rock all the time!:o we gave it our best shot today and came up empty and confused
The last couple of times I went and didn't catch any Crappie, I wrote it off as not knowing what I was doing, but we tried it all today and still no luck. Think I am headed to Stockton at least until things change a bit on the Rock

I here you brother, that lake is tuff. They do have big blue gill around the docks lol
In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax
Couldn't prove it by us today! even the 'Gills weren't cooperating
I personally think it's all that second hand beer that ends up in the water every weekend! The fish get drunk, see double and go after the wrong jig or minner!:D:D:D

Actually Beagle, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. What is going on with the Rock? Man that lake has been a crappie ghost town for a couple of years now. At least you guys gave it an honest try.
