I ordered a new subscription around Christmas time thru Amazon (gotta love gift cards). Got a renewal invoice today. Haven't even received the first issue yet.
Is it just me or does everyone get a renewal invoice about every third issue. I renewed for a two year period thinking this would solve this problem, but they still send a renewal invoice.
I love the mag, but am getting tired with the renewal notices.

Ride To Work ... Work To Ride
LOL - I don't think I better say anything.
Good things come to those who bait.
very annoying, and a poor impression of a company with class.
"Some days im Basstastic other days im crapptacular"
I've had this happen before with a different mag. I ordered like 3 years of some mag and like yall after a short while received a renewal notice. I was like RENEW THIS.
Is it "telling" you that you need to renew ... or just "offering" a renewal deal ?
Are there "perks" to renewing your subscription, beyond your original term ? Or is it just a junk mail flyer and/or aggressive solicitation pratices that bothers you ?
I've heard this complaint before, but never figured out what all the fuss was about. We get bombarded with these deals every day ... TV, radio, the web, store sales, newspaper ads, billboards -- what's one more "come on" ?
Remember - not everyone associated with these "fishing magazines", is an angler. And magazines are competing with the web !! If the magazine is what you think it should be ... great - buy it, enjoy it, and renew your subscription when the time comes (your address label on the mag will have your renewal date on it). If it isn't ... cancel your subscription. But, in the meantime ... put those unwarranted "renewal notices" in the same place you put credit card apps & other junk mail -- in the shredder !! You'll lower your blood pressure by 10 points !! :D ...........cp
I got sick of getting those things and let the subscription run out I found it is better to pick one up at WalMart with the subscription you get it a couple days early that is about it
i had the same problem with crappie world, due to my intricate record
keeping i ended up renewing when i didnt need to, and a subscription
i bought for my son never made it to him, but they cashed my check.
i wrote them a letter outlining my problems and unhappiness. they wrote a
letter back and i got a 5 year subscription free. i dont usually complain
but this time it worked.

I have no reason to purchase any magazine on Crappie. I don't think it would improve my fishing at all. Crappie.com is the way to go. It's all in here from folks with first hand experience. Thanks to all.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
I ordered the mag through Amazon.com back in Nov. and paid for a year. I have never received an issue but did receive a bill yesterday thanking me for my subscription and telling me I owed about $15. I made a copy of my receipt from Amazon and mailed it off to them with a note. From that experiance and what I am reading here I will not renew.

I have spent most of my life fishing.
The rest I have just wasted.
