I'am finding it hard to find a job
Are your kids/teenagers finding it hard to find a job.
I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

I'am finding it hard to find a job
I'm not looking for a job. Not that I'm afraid of work. I can lay down beside it and sleep all day.
My wife asked me what I was doing today and I told her nothing. She said, well that's what you done all day yesterday. So I told her, well I didn't get done doing nothing. Now she won't talk to me. O well, can't win em all.
Be as smart as you can, but it is always better to be wise than to be smart.
Finding a job today is harder than ever.
Here are a few reasons why.
There are more woman working. (There are now millions of woman working and looking for jobs, 20 years ago there were not.)
The human population is 2, 3, and in some places even 4 times higher today, than it was just 30 years ago.
There are millions of people who have a college degree.
There are millions of people who have manager skills, and certifications.
There are 20 million illegal immigrants in America.
There are more people now than ever, who are working 2 or 3 jobs. In other words they are taking up, and occupying 2 or 3 jobs. That makes it tough for people who have 0 jobs.
Most jobs today require an applicant to apply online.
Computers will often select applicants for an interview. So getting a job today can be like winning the lottery.
Millions of people have good computer/ technology skills, which are required at most jobs.
Machines/ computers can do jobs today, that real people used to.

I bet I get asked 20 times a day if I'm hiring ? C-Stores are challenging, especially managing one with my background.
Do you really want a job?
Can you pass a drug test?
Can you pass a background check?
Will you get your hands dirty and sweat in the summer and freeze in the winter?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, I have a career for you in the wonderful world of construction!!!
... if you answered no to any of them, you'll be living with your mother until you pass the age of 50!
Hopefully the construction industry will pick up soon.
I think nearly 35% of construction workers are without work right now.
As a result they are looking for, and taking jobs they normally would not take.(retail, fast food etc).
And since a lot of construction workers have lost work or lost hours, they are going out and getting a 2nd job.
Many times in retail or fast food etc.
So no wonder kids can't find a job, the jobs kids used to get, are being taken by millions of adults looking for a job, or a 2nd job.
