Default Fishing Smithville on Monday 2-21

I have a few days off work this week and I'll probably try my luck up above W bridge . It's been 3 weeks since I have been out fishing and I'm chomping at the bit to get out on the water .
I might try for Bass on topwater first thing , then go strictly for crappie. What's the latest pattern? I plan on dipping trees in 10-20' .

    No Walleye?! :D

Congrats on the catch, Scott...get more later this week if you can. My guess is you'll be dodging raindrops all week!

Scott we were finding them in 8 to 9 ft of warer. Dont over look a little shallower.

I fished a few trees up shallow , but caught mostly shorts , so I moved out deeper . I tried some creeks arms I had never fished before , so I was moving around trying to learn some new water and find a pattern . I found some good areas, but I think I'm going to fish south of W tomorrow . I need to get back on my spot .
I fished Trimble , Roberts and the Little Platte arm all the way up to the J landing area today .
