I feel for you :D I'd like to have a tough week and those slabs to show for!
With Lake Greeson coming up nearly 6-feet last Friday and then falling about 6-inches a day since then, the crappie have been a bit scattered.
We've had highs in the mid-nineties every day with little or no wind or clouds, which has made it tough to stay out very long for some of my crews.
But, we had a few good-ole-biguns and better numbers today:
The white was 17.25-inches but only weighed 2-pounds.
My crew caught well over their limit but only kept 37-crappie and a spotted bass:
We had a few D-fish and a couple suicides but ended up with nearly 4-quarts of fillets.
We're back under "Full Pool" now so I'm hoping SWEPCO will stop dropping the lake level quite so fast so they'll settle down and get back to biting consistently.
I feel for you :D I'd like to have a tough week and those slabs to show for!
For tough conditions like that, you make 2 gals :D big.
Looks like Jerry's idea of tough fishing is what I call fishing & catching in Heaven.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

Man o man Jerry, I don't know how you can cope with such a poor week! Geez, catching just a few 2 pound Crappie and having Clients along who are easy on the eyes....must be tearing you up inside....you probably should go ahead and close up shop....
I'm hoping to have some of those poor weeks sometime this year! :D
Srsly, great catch and thanks for sharing. I look forward to your post!
