Thumbs up stockton good and better

Well hit the flats and coves and I got to say Hogster, and gonefishingee have been telling me for long time skinny water and ten foot pole in hot weather, you to CRAPPIE CHATT. well got to the lake about 10 am ran the motor wide open and it ran perfect, got to the fishing spot and found the crappie in 9 ft. of water. some as shallow as 3 ft, just let the jig drift along with the boat in the breeze. bam fish after fish, quit counting at 50 every size from 8 to 15 in, not real fat yet but darn nice fish. water was 80dg. clear and not to high maby 4 ft into the brush. all the fish were just out in the middle of the coves, close to but not on trees, found some brush in 5ft of water and found fish in the brush, drop the jig in to the brush and hold it real still tic, tic, tug fish on. color of the day was white/silver and blue/silver. if you get the chance to go don't pass up the shallow water, oh no walley today sorry

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Thanks for the report beagle. It is hard to believe that those fish would be that shallow in hot weather, but that is what we found on Sunday.
