Power Pro braid. Comes in several colors including red and hi vis yellow. That's the only thing will I have on my bait casters and even use it on an ultralight spinning rig! A friend talked me into trying fluorocarbon last year and I hated it! used it one trip and ripped it off and respooled with Power Pro

I use Mr. Crappie Hi Vis 10# for pulling cranks. Works well.

dont use braid to troll long line cranks, no give, and you will loose a lot of fish, just my two cents worth.

I , like chris use 10lb walley marshall. or 8lb. both work well.

10lb Mr. Crappie Hi Vis Green. Works good and is cheap. I like braid for jiggin/dippin, but it will make your wallet hurt if you are riggin up 8 rods.

As long as it is mono you'll be good.

I use Berkley Big Game in 12lb, but you are going to want to tie a swivel and clip on the end of your main line, and use a swivel and clip on a leader. On the leaders, I make them about 2-3ft long and use flourocarbon 8-10lb day fishing and 8lb diameter spiderline crystal when I troll at night. This allows you to make changes quickley and also allows you to use flourocarbon without the expense of spooling all these big linecounter reels with it!

I Pull Cranks W/ Braid All The Time. My First Choice. I Put A Mono Leader On And A Sinker If I Need It To Go Deeper.
