    Anybody in North Alabama finding wild blackberries yet. Im gonna take a stroll out to wheeler today.

    We've got them all over the place here... big ones too... of course you have to fight the snakes for them but their awesome to snack on while fishing.

    Just planted some blueberries and rasberries this year . I know the snakes love them but it's worth it, do you guys cover the bushes to keep the birds out>????? I hear a minnow seine works good.. Pm me with info

    If we don't get any rain here soon there won't be anymore blackberries... with the mid 90 temps and no precip. their drying out pretty bad. Hopefully we have some heavy rains moving in... works been slow until we get some water to fall.

    I use stuff like this over my thorn less blackberries. I discovered last year that is was best to get the netting up before the birds and squirrels started getting a taste of the ripe berries. They didn't mess with the netting like they did in previous years when I had put the netting up later after the berries had started to ripen.
