    Default Smithville 5/21

Fished after work today. The lake is muddy. Put in at the W Bridge boat lanch. Water was stained and around 12" of visibility. Headed north, thinking the further I got from the dam, the better things would be. Man, was I wrong. The lake was a lot more worse up north. Less than 6" visibility and muddy, muddy, and more muddy. Also, there are a lot of large trees floating around in the lake. Be careful if your out. The Corp turned the water off. I was up there today. When you fill your minno bucket up with fresh water you can't see the bottom of the bucket its so bad, Camp Branch side was a little better. Fishing was bad for me.

    Default Bridge

Fished W with the boys after work Friday. Caught I bet 100 shorts and 10 keepers under the bridge....Whites also make for a fun trip as they were mixed in.

The good news is the fish were biting. But, they seemed to want a slow presentation.
