Mississippe is wide open, very strange for this time of year, kinda makes a guy want to take the cover off and hit the water! I wonder how wide open Red Rock is?

This time of year really sucks for me,having to chose between ice fishing and shed hunting.I have been on ice close to home in a few places with good results.Shed hunting,is starting to win the battle now.Anyone know of any good shed hunting ground I can get on ?

I ended up going to Muscatine yesturday. A friend of mine and i ended up with 70-80 cigars. Only three keepers out of all of them, but we were out and we were caughing fish. I caught one that was 4-inches longer than the 5-inch shad body on the jig!

I thought I would post this thread just because we were the only state that hadn't had a new post since the 20th of december.

I'll post.... I havn't really got into many crapps yet this winter. We got some out of Brushy with the largest at 14 1/2". Last sat. I tried some after dark fishing with zero crappie luck. I hear there some being caught at first light!
Usually by now I have been on Don Williams by now ...but ice????? It may be OK but havn't been over there. Got some OK crapps out of a Coon Rapids pond. That's about it for my crappie fishing. We are not done YET!!!!!!!!!!
