Great Meeting / Finally Ready to Fish!!!

We had an excellent meeting last night, with 19 guys and gals present. A lot of business was conducted, and decisions made.

Most importantly, the club approved the Tournament Rules and 2010 Tournament Schedule. Over the next several days, I will be posting and e-mailing a lot of details, so be sure to check the club website, West TN Crappie Club, on a regular basis.

Our first tournament will be on Saturday, May 22nd, at the Springville Pump Station Ramp, on West Sandy. This will be a members only tournament. If you have not had the opportunity to join yet, the membership application, dues amounts, and mailing address are posted on the club website.

Generally, the registration for each tournament will be conducted at the club meeting just prior to the tournament. Since we will not have another club meeting prior to this tournament, I will be at the Springville Ramp at 5:00 AM on the 22nd, to allow everyone to register for the tournament (just look for the WTCC sign). Entry fees will be $15 per person ($30 per boat). For those who have not joined the club by the morning of the 22nd, you can also submit your membership application and pay your dues on-site. Registrations will be accepted until 6:30 AM, with fishing beginning at 7:00 AM.

Members who wish to fish this tournament who do not have access to a boat, as well as those with a boat who need a partner for the tournament, should e-mail or PM me, so we can attempt to hook you up.

One other note of importance... from this point forward, club meetings will be held the 4th Thursday night of each month, at 6:30 PM, at Kappis Steakhouse in Humboldt (address and map to be posted on the club website). Be sure to make plans to attend our next meeting on May 28th.

Brenda and I had a large time. Always great to meet more folks. Our social life usually revolves around Dr offices, hospitals and funeral parlors.

Cabbage "worked" on me before we got back home. Got the other ear boxed.:o Ima starting to look like Sponge Bob.

We enjoyed just hanging out.

That is great news!! I am glad that things are coming together. It is hard for me to make the meetings due to work. Will be sending my dues in soon.
