Sounds like a lot of fun what part of the lake were you fish?
Anyone who has kids should take them to Stockton lake Real soon. To have a great time. You will need. LIFE JACKETS (be safe first) any rod and reel with 6 or 8 lb test line, some no. 2 gold aberdeen hooks a pkg of small split shot, several 1" orange weighted bobbers from WM and a bucket of minnows from the quick stop across from DG in Greenfield. To have fun just set the cork about 3 foot deep put a med minnow on the hook and a split shot just above it 4". Fish half to 3/4 of the way back in any small cove either from the bank or from an anchored boat. If you don't get bit in 10 minutes move. You will get bit before you move 3 times. Take your camera as you will make many funny memories. Let your kids take the fish off and hold them by the mouth (not the walleye) till they get "fish Thumb" then they can show all thier friends and brag about all the fish they caught. We went Wed. after school with My daughters and they are still talking about it today. Make it fun and take some snacks. when they get tired of it they will let you know. mine didn't till they caught 50 or 60 and we wound up with a nice mess for dinner tomarrow also. Just take them one or two times and you will have them hooked and some great quality time !!
