Finally found the good ones shallow. Managed 24 fish from 5:30 until 8 in 2-3 feet of water. Had a dozen or so fish in the 12-13 inch range, nothing larger than that. A few of the females had eggs that looked like they were about the drop. Weather was awesome again, no wind and perfect temp. Another great evening on the lake. I wish Spring lasted year round....

Thanks guys, and it was a blast. I really have never done too well during the spawn, so that made it even better. I guess I'm heading over again this evening. Can't get enough right now...

What were you using? If the weather holds I may head up after work.

Purple Sparkle/Chart. and Brown/Chart. on orange and yellow jigheads about 18 inches under a float. Most of the bigger fish were 10-15 ft off the bank where we were fishing.
