Fished MT saturday

We fished Mark Twain saturday. Kept 16 fish. Only 1 female in the bunch. Most was a good size. Only a couple of dinks. Caught these close to the bank. From 1 ft. down to 6 ft. down. It took 8 hours to get these. Catch 1 and then move on. Except for 1 spot. We caught 8 of the 16 in 1 spot around a cedar tree close to the bank. Husband was moving on and I was dragging my minner away from the tree when I caught 1 so we proceeeded to set and catch 7 more. couldn't find another tree like that. Mostly on minners w/nibbles but a couple on Mo Glo jigs and plastics. Not much catching going on that we could see.
