    went into burtons and he had a picture of a crappie that was caught on 4/10 the crappie was 18.5 and weight 2.13lbs caught on a road runner in less a ft of water

    18 inch long and only 2 lbs????? That's a skinny Crappie.

    I agree that an 18 incher that only weighs 2 lbs.is either really skinny or there is something wrong with the scale.Crappie that long should be 3lbs or close to it. Still a big fish though.

    I have 2- 17 inch crappie citations from smithville,there were very close to 18.They both were under 3#...can't really say if they were male or female.Both caught in May.
