    Default Got some yesterday pics


    Hit the water at sunrise yesterday. Gills by the hundred and about 70 specks. Gills were all 6 - 8 inchers and crappies were all 7 - 10. Not huge but great eaters. Kept mostly gills for a change but did keep a few specks. Fried them up shortly after getting home. Here are some pics. First is me at the lake with my kayak and stringer of fish. Second is after the filet job is done, nice batch of fillets. Third is of course, dinner in making. And last is my longtime friend and fishing partner, Luke, digging in.

    Always good to see a fellow kayak/canoe person catch a bunch. That is a healthy looking bag of fillets. Way to go!
