Sounds like a great day pole bender glad u got on em!!!
The wind was a lot better today and so was the fishing. Got a limit of really nice fish this afternoon. Water temp was 47 which is up 5 degrees from yesterday and you had to be casting to catch them, held my rod tip up and casted in 15 to 20 foot of water and slow reeled it back to the boat. I would guess the jig was running about 10 feet. Started with blue/silver jig and never switched. What a difference a day makes! Talked to the Water Patrol and they still have not found the father and son.

Its funny how much a day can make to the finicky little buggers heck for that matter an hour can change em completly, congrats on a good day stay on em.

good job bender don't you ever work???
that seems shallow for stockton? we may be winded in for a few days up here, but at least it might blow the mud off my boat....
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
good for you tom, glad you had a good day,
Nice job Bender! Glad you got after them.
Which part of the lake were you at and where casting towards brush pile or shad? Thanks for the information.
Lower end of the lake fishing over a drop off from 15 on top to 20 at the bottom. The fish were scattered along the ledge so I was casting along it, up it, and down it. I did the beat casting along it. I was using a orange 1/8oz jig head with a blue/silver slab buster.
I should of added out from a gravel spawning bank.

Thanks for the information, just trying to learn some on crappie fishing. Will crappie hang out on secondary point if there is rocks but not brush?
