Default Good Friday = good fishing

Things are really coming together this week.... full moon on tues 30th, really warming temps 75-80 toward end of week, stained waters which will warm up faster, and Good Friday which is a day I usually always have good luck fishing on. Wouldn't you know, I screwed up my boat trailer and waiting on a part...so temporarily grounded.

10 day out shows thunderstorms on Sunday thru several days the following week. This is THE week !!!

It definitely looks like a good week! Sorry to hear about the trailer, nothing like bank fishing when you have a boat that works great but no way to get it to the water! Granted this will be a good week, but not the best week of spring, those days are still a few weeks away.

yes HT, prob not the best week of spring but this week should get things cooking, especially if you have a black crappie lake you like to fish....this weather will push them right on the banks....1 foot to 6 ft of water. Gills will also start getting active and moving to shallow water too. I just hope the wind doesn't get too out of hand.

I think everybody should stay home this weekend and do a little yard work, give the crappie a break. I'll go fishing and report back to ya.
