Wow! wat yall use for bait, dynamite? Fished thursday tried up buckhorn and fished all the beaver huts I could find with little luck. Did a lot of exploring. Wind got so bad I left around 2:00. Never have been any good catching them when they go shallow.

Good catch! How much further from Winston to Harris than say to Jordan? Where would be a good place to put in at? Thanks for any info and once again... way to get 'em!

Had a heck of a fish fry yesterday.
    Haven't tried the pickerel yet.
1st one I've kept from Harris. Beautiful looking fillets though !

From Jordan, you are probably 10/15 minutes from Harris
Just pass up the Ebenezer ramp and take a right on Old Route 1
Take a left about a 1/2 mile down by the little store/railroad tracks
That will take you to the ramp off of highway 42.

We threw blue/chartreuse tube jigs all day in 2/3 feet of water on open sandy flats.
Never found a single fish up on the beaver huts.
They're still scattered on the flats.
That 80 degree weather later this week oughta set em up fire !
