nice trip for the Hiss. water any warmer ? i fised James on wed. & the water was still just 46 degrees at blackbear. Figured Rhodhiss would have been to muddy to fish after the downpour we had sunday night.
I've been waiting all year for the bite at the hiss to pick up. Boat's in the shop so the buddy picked me up. The bite is starting to pick up near the banks. We both caught our limit on both days but only kept a few to have. The bite is few and far between but when bit, boy are they big ones. I only caught a few dinks, the rest were 11-14 inchers. None of the fishes were full of eggs but boy are they healthy. I only seen a few boats bass fishing and that's about all I saw. By the way, this is a nightstalk. I can catch the bigger ones and more during the night it seems. It's hard to go out of town when the bite is here in town.

My friend was having trouble with his depthfinder. Didn't get any water temp. It is still slightly stained but not as I much as I anticipated with the amount of rain we received. A lot of small debris and trash around but it's clearing up quite fast.
good report jamesbond...thanks for sharing
