Well went crappie fishing sat morning....didn't get on the lake till bout 930 because of truck troubles.........put in at lovelady access and fished a couple of coves....didn't catch no crappie but caught 8 perch, 4 catfish and 6 largemouth bass.......lake was a little stained with water being 51 in main channel and 53 - 55 in the coves.......caught the bass in 2 - 6 ft of water and everything else on the bottom in 25 - 30 ft.......all in all it was a good day of fishing......can someone help me find some crappie?

It's still a little cold up here and we don't have the numbers of crappie that they have in High Rock, Jordan, TT, and others. In a couple of weeks our fish should be up good. Until then try the banks with jigs and minnows or troll in Gunpowder or Bethlehem. It will happen, just give'em a little more time.
