    I just purchased 3 whuppin sticks that are 12' from cabelas for $14.99 each and paired them up with a shimano x1000 that were $11.99 each at bass pro. Have used them 3 times so far and have had zero problems and am extremely pleased. I have less in the whole combo than the cost of most rods. Plus the whuppin sticks come with a 10 year warranty.
