I didn't see the video but I have been to the Lake of the Ozarks many many times and not once did I feel compelled to fish. It's pretty darned dirty in my opinion and I know for a fact that my redneck brother has disposed of car batteries and television sets by tossing them off his dock -- he isn't the only one.

On our last visit my kids were swimming in the lake (which I wasn't crazy about) when a large oil slick slowly floated into the swimming area... no piranhas though.

I would think it would get too cold for them to survive if some one put them in there but I'm no piranha expert. Someone did find a pretty good sized octopus that had made it through the winter here in Lake Conway a couple of years ago so who knows.

We have some phirana's in a lake around here too. They are caught about everyyear at Branched Oak Lake. They say people have them in aquariums and get tired of them and turn them loose in the lakes. The last one they caught was pretty good sized. EB
