The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

Good luck and have a safe trip
Be safe, Mike. Good luck.

Good luck Mike. Thinking about going down there one day next week myself, if we get one where the wind is not too bad. Keep us posted.
Fish should have settled down by then after this weekend's Crappie Master Tourney.
Good Luck & Good Fishin'!

I went this same week last year and froze! I'll gurantee you get better weather than we had. Our last day, the sun came out and we only planned to fish a couple hours before we headed back, but the nice weather really helped the catching making it hard to leave.
My 2 cents: Spider rigs really seem to help you get some decent numbers. Don't be afraid to stray from the pack huddled in the 8-12' deep area.
If you get a warm day, I'd try fishing 4-6' first.
