    Default Report from Stockton.....

Well, they're still wanting to move up shallower.....Water is slow to warm so they seem to be still staying close to deep water.....Shad is still important for locating them.......Went this PM for about an hour, caught 15 nice slabs before switching into "walleye" mode......Yesterday we had no trouble locating and catching limits.....Had at least 7 that would average 1# +..........
    NO Walleye yet.........

Great news on the slabs! Walleye would be icing on the cake:D
I have GOT to get up to Stockton soon! Only problem is the Rock is only 20 minutes away and every time the truck is hooked up to the boat it wants to go to familiar territory. Gotta shift the blame somewhere, right?

Thanks for the report, seem like the water should be warming up faster. Today should be a nice day to fish if the wind stays down. Hopefully the rains doesn't raise the water level too high. We don't need the lake to be 10' high this spring.

    x2 on report JR..
Water was 43 on sunday just about everywhere we went. As far as high water in spring. Nobody likes it except the fish. Great for the spawn, so let it happen. It only means better fishing in future. I know it will make it tough to get to them while they are spawning but we can adapt.
