Thanks for the LOZ report, I just about went down, I wouldn't have been far from you there, A friend has a cabin just outside of Buck Creek Cove
Well it was poor for us on Saturday. Probably caught 8-10 fish between two of us, with 1 or 2 keepers. I'm sure someone out there caught some, but apparently we were not on the right pattern. We were basically vertical jigging in 20-30 fow, and would get a bite every once in a while. Only one spot worked for us, it near a dock with brush in about 25 fow. If anyone else was in this area and did any good let me know.

A guy I know said a guy caught about 8 walleye in the Gravois off a bluff, granted most were small, but a couple were pushing 3 lbs. Can anyone confirm similar experiences to this in the Gravois, or anywhere for that matter?
I came to find out that people were catching them shallow, but of course that was too late for me to do anything about it. I think I'll give it a try this weekend though. I'll let you know how it goes. i'll tell you one thing, that deep fishing is not my sort of deal, I prefer active fish in and around the docks. Hopefully that pattern has developed and is here to stay for a while.
What kind of pattern were the shallow fish on up there?

Jimmie, that's what I've always heard, more of an incidental catch than something you can go after and catch on purpose. Maybe some people can, but I sure haven't heard of a pattern.
