    Default Hyco night stalk 2/20

Went up to Hyco tonite with a fishin buddy to do some bank fishing... Took a 12v sealed lead acid battery out the kids power wheels truck to run a submerged light it ran for probably 3 hours... We had fun caught a dozen real nice crappie before it got cold. The bite was very light they would not take the minnows on my lighted bobbers. Had to switch up to small corks and hardly no weight to get them to bite.

    Sounds like a good time!

What kind of light did you use with that little battery?

Cool! So when you switched to the small cork, did they pull it under or did you just kinda notice them start to move?

Yeah they would pull the small cork under.. only problem I had to keep my headlamp on to keep an eye on the corks.. Put some reflective tape on them and that helped alot..

it was one of those halogen ones with a clear plastic houseing around it.. I added a pirimid sinker to the cord and just pitched out from the bank.. there were schools of minnows swimin all around the light it was cool.. I will go look at the package i cant remember the brand...
